Welcome to ScubaTogether. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile and web applications ("App", "Service"). By using ScubaTogether, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use the App

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScubaTogether. If you're under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. User Responsibilities

By using ScubaTogether, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information (e.g. emergency contacts, dive details)
• Use the app safely and legally
• Not upload harmful, offensive, or copyrighted material
• Respect other users and their data

You are responsible for the content you upload and the actions you take in the app.

3. Your Data

We store your personal data, emergency contacts, dive logs, and photos to help you and your group plan and record dive trips.

By using the app, you consent to:

• Your emergency contact details being visible to other group/trip members
• Dive data being stored and used to improve the Service
• Optional future features such as anonymized analytics or advertising (you’ll be notified in advance)

4. Data Ownership and Deletion

You retain ownership of your data. You can:

• Export your data
• Delete your account and associated data at any time

We may retain minimal anonymized logs for audit or legal reasons where required.

5. Limitation of Liability

ScubaTogether is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of dive data entered by users
• Injuries, accidents, or legal issues arising from use of the app
• Data loss due to technical issues (we do our best to prevent this)

Use of the app does not replace professional dive planning, training, or safety procedures.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the app
• Required by law

You may also stop using the app at any time.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
